A couple of them had some sort of debris keeping them from threading by hand; using a pair of pliers to hold the barrel allowed me to work the screw past the blockage. They then worked fine, without the pliers.
5/10/18 5 Star “Needed to replace 3/8 ” brass screws and posts that fell off a belt. Close to exact replacement that worked. Would have preferred buying only two screws and fasteners for less cost, but, on the other hand, will now have extras in case the same problem arises in the future.
